A British
woman planning to start a new life with her husband in New Zealand was banned
from entering the country because she was too fat. According to a British
newspaper, The Daily Mail, Rowan
Trezise, 33, remained in England while her husband, Richie, 35, had already
made the move down under leaving her desperately trying to lose weight. Initially
the couple was denied entry into the country because their excessive poundage caused
a potential burden on the New Zealand health care system. Richie lost weight
and gained entry. Rowan gained weight and lost Richie.
